Do Not use Adsterra.

20 Sep 2022 07:10 am
We have recently found many websites hijacked and auto-redirected (without clicking) to malware-infested pages, spam pages, and auto-install program pages.

After doing some research and helping some of our site owners figure out who was to blame, we have found that it is Adsterra.com causing these issues.

After some research online, we found this is a common theme with Adsterra.

We are notifying our members that if there are intrusive ads like we have found coming from Adsterra.com ads as described above, starting next month, we will require those types of ads to be removed to keep AdHitz Ads on your website.

We do not want to be associated with any site that would do what Adsterra.com is doing.

Note: many of the people they are mostly taking advantage of are from non-tier one counties, and they can't see the auto redirects as they are primarily targeting tier one counties. They seem to target these people so they don't object to what they are doing; this seems like a very dirty practice.

We Advice if you are using Adsterra that you ensure you are not allowing these types of auto redirects to happen or remove them altogether.
